Under Age Hurling

Great to see Palmerstown and James Park buzzing this evening with our youngest hurlers back in the Boro! Well done everyone involved. Parents are advised to download Clubzap App to follow the Covid Protocols. Please see relevant clubzap groups for training schedules.

New Automatic External Defibrillators
Dicksboro GAA and Camogie Club have invested in the safety of our community by
installing 2 new community AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillator) for use by all of the community in the case of an emergency.
The AED’s are on public display in St James Park (on the exterior dressing room wall) and also in our club grounds in Palmerstown (on the clubhouse exterior wall).
Help Fund the Costs
The overall cost of €6k was part funded by a Camogie Club application under the
Government’s “Sports Capital & Equipment Grant” with proceeds from the National
Lottery, for which we are very grateful. If you would like to support the funding of these new AED’s please play the clubs
lotto, one off €10 for 5 draws and mark your name as “yourname AED” so we will
know – click here: https://dicksborogaa.clubzap.com/products/1299/purchases/new
We are grateful to club members Niall Lacey, Lacey Electrical Ltd for installation of both AED’s and also to Declan O’Farrell (advance paramedic, masters in emergency
medical science) who will be the point of contact for our club for anything relating to the AED’s. Declan’s contact details are up on our Clubzap system under“emergency contacts”.
Defibrillation and Sudden Cardiac ArrestFactors leading to successful outcomes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest include good quality
CPR and the application of an electric shock by an Automatic External Defibrillator.
